Are your bags packed?

The First Annual Camellia City Stockinettes Knitting Retreat begins this Thursday, October 15, 2009 at Camp Richardson Historic Resort in South Lake Tahoe, CA.

There is certain to be crisp fall weather and plenty of non-stop knitting and fun with the Stockinettes who have signed up for the Retreat.

Each attendee will receive a Retreat Tote Bag filled with goodies generously donated by the Yarn and Knitting Industry. There will be ongoing Knit-Alongs, games and drawings with fabulous prizes.

If you are going and need directions, click this Camp Richardson link for directions and here for a Resort map.

  1. Great photo, Lisette! I can picture us sitting on the dock today enjoying lunch before preparing for the retreat. It's going to be so much fun!

  2. Sitting here pondering what knitting to take and what I need to bring. Michelle and I are leaving early in the morning and I bet we find you all knitting happily away by the time we arrive. Same some fun for us! Nina

  3. So here I am on Thanksgiving morning reading my newsletter and decide in the only quiet of this day to FINALLY post a comment about the retreat. Problem is there were so many wonderful things it's been tough to put it down into words. It's a warm feeling of sharing a special weekend with outstanding people. The best part is the glow that returns each time I think about it. Old friends, new friends, shopping pals, spending time with my mom, new patterns, yarn ... see what I mean? I have so much gratitude to the amazing ladies who organized and carried this function to it's conclusion, they did so much work and it showed, look how happy we all were! Thank you all.
